About Us WHD Microanalysis Consultants Ltd WHD is a small company, based in Suffolk, England. The company was formed in 1987 primarily to provide a SEM-based materials consultancy service to the construction industry. However, the SEM is a universally useful tool and our client base expanded rapidly into other areas. One of our areas of expertise is the application of SEM to cementitious systems - see our cement and concrete website. Our objective in providing our SEM contract service is to provide a cost-effective and timely service to our clients, with whom we aim to establish a close and long-term working relationship. Our associated company, Levington Laboratories are consulting analytical chemists offering environmental testing under EPA and COSHH regulations; also analysis of process emissions, workplace air quality and water. Levington Laboratories provide us with non-SEM analytical facilites as necessary.
